Here at Pinworthy Kitchen, we’ve made and tested a lot of different breakfast items. This recipe by Saving Room for Dessert seemed to be a bit out of the ordinary but had plenty of visual (and hopefully taste) appeal. Upon making it, we were delighted with the results. Everything from the Gruyere to the fresh vegetables to the egg mixture paired together perfectly, leading to one of the best quiches we’ve ever tried.
Because this quiche is so easy to prepare yet the end result looks like it came from a bakery, it is perfect for anything from a weekday breakfast to a fancy spring brunch. The possibilities are truly endless.
Although we loved this quiche exactly as it was, this recipe can easily be customized. Not a fan of Gruyere? Substitute in another cheese such as Gouda, pepper jack, or even mozzarella. Even the vegetables can be changed- just be sure to use the same amounts as the original recipe.
